Financial Literacy That Actually Sticks

We spent years watching people struggle with financial terms that seemed designed to confuse. That's why we built something different.

Our program breaks down complex financial concepts into practical knowledge you can use right away. No jargon overload. Just clear explanations that help you make smarter money decisions.

Starting September 2025, we're bringing together small groups of learners who want to understand their finances without needing an economics degree.

What You'll Actually Learn

We cover the financial terms and concepts that matter in real life. Things you'll encounter when buying property, investing, or just trying to understand your bank statements.

Banking Basics

Interest rates, mortgage structures, and loan terms explained without the confusing fine print. You'll know exactly what you're agreeing to.

Investment Language

Stocks, bonds, ETFs, and managed funds demystified. We explain what these things actually are and when they might make sense for you.

Tax Terminology

Deductions, offsets, and capital gains broken down into plain language. Australian tax system specifics included.

Property Terms

Equity, LVR, settlement, and conveyancing explained for anyone looking at the property market. Especially relevant for Australian buyers.

How It Works

We run cohorts three times yearly. Each program takes twelve weeks and includes both structured lessons and open discussion sessions where you can ask about your specific situation.

1

Foundation Phase (Weeks 1-4)

We start with the absolute basics. What is interest? How do loans work? What's the difference between income and capital gains? Everyone starts here regardless of background because we've found even experienced professionals have gaps in their understanding.

2

Application Phase (Weeks 5-8)

Now we apply those concepts to real scenarios. Analysing actual loan offers. Comparing investment products. Reading property contracts. You'll work through examples based on situations our past participants have faced.

3

Integration Phase (Weeks 9-12)

The final weeks focus on building your personal financial understanding framework. You'll create reference materials that make sense to you and practice explaining concepts to others—because teaching something is the best way to truly learn it.
